The Frank Ridge Memorial Foundation, Inc. (a 501(c)3 non-profit) is recognized by the NY State Education Department’s State Board as an approved provider of Continuing Education Credits (CEs) for all NY licensed Social Workers (#0096), Mental Health Counselors (#0010), Marriage & Family Therapists (#0014) and Psychoanalysts (#P-0018).* Professionals licensed in more than one discipline can earn credit for each license in our seminars (for an additional nominal administrative fee).

Each year, we host quarterly CONNECTING DOTS film series (worth 12 – 15 NY SED live-in-person approved CEs) and individual seminars (worth 3 – 6.5 NY SED live-in-person approved CEs).

Through lovingly selected movies and lively conversation, enhanced by resource-rich, take-home materials, we provide a FUN, intimate, highly interactive atmosphere conducive to higher learning.  Seminars are facilitated by Julie Ridge, LCSW-R, a master trainer with over 25 years experience teaching and working with children, adolescents, families, foster parents and professionals. Healthy refreshments are served.

CONNECTING DOTS: The Enchanted Series
This ALL NEW 4-part series features a myriad of mental health conditions depicted in charming, beautifully crafted, award winning animated films.
It is worth 12 NY SED approved live-in-person Continuing Education credits (CEs) for all NY State licensed social workers, mental health counselors,
marriage & family therapists, and psychoanalysts.

WHEN: 4 consecutive Saturdays,
March 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th, 2018; 1:00 – 4:15 pm.
WHERE: 482 West 43rd Street (at 10th Avenue), NYC, NY.
Manhattan Plaza Health Club (MPHC),
Club Conference Room (ground floor, wheelchair accessible).
COST: Licensed social workers, mental health counselors, marriage & family therapists and psychoanalysts earning 12 CEs: $250.

We will be presenting a 3 live-in-person CE seminar on Saturday, January 20th, 2018; a Super Monday full day seminar on Monday, January 29th, 2018; and a Super Monday full day seminar on Monday, February 12th, 2018.  Subjects to be announced.  Details to come as registrations open.  Stay Tuned for new and increased programming, plus some theatrical surprises!

All of our seminars have been approved for NY SED CE credit for NY social workers, mental health counselors, marriage & family therapists, and psychoanalysts.  To schedule custom tailored seminars for your organization, see our Seminars pulldown tab for our menu.

*NY LMSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs, LMFTs and LPs must receive 36 CEs every 3 years to renew their license.  24 of those CEs must be live-in-person. For more information about Continuing Education credits go to the New York State Office of the Profession’s website at:  www.op.nysed.gov/prof   Select your profession, then click on Continuing Education on the left for requirements and listing of approved agencies. 

Note: There is no State restriction as to how many of your 36 credits you can earn from a single provider or within a single year.

Cancellation Policy:  In case of inclement weather, we will notify you within 24 hours seminar time if we must cancel.  You will be given the option to come on the rescheduled date, or credit your tuition to a future seminar, or receive a refund.  Participant cancellations received more than 7 days in advance can be applied to future seminars or receive a 75% refund.  Cancellations received up to 48 hours in advance of seminar receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than 48 hours from seminar date or no shows, receive no refund or credit.  In case of serious emergency (e.g. accident, hospitalization, death of a loved one), contact us and we will do our best to work with you. Because your credit card information is encrypted for your protection, refunds are issued by check.

We serve healthy refreshments, catered by Fountain House, at all of our seminars. Note that alcohol will never be served at our events.  We are proud to provide a safe and sober environment.
